Jim Quinn
James R. Quinn, RN, BSN, CNLCP®, FIG LCP-C, FIG MCP-C, CPB, is an experienced registered nurse with over 15 years in healthcare, who has worked in adult critical care, emergency room, and trauma nursing. His clinical background includes acute care settings and long-term residential brain injury facilities. As an RN preceptor, he has guided student nurses, graduate nurses, and experienced RNs, sharing his knowledge and expertise. Mr. Quinn is a certified nurse life care planner, certified professional biller, and medical cost projection expert, having developed over 1,500 expert reports, including bill reviews, life care plans, medical cost projections, rebuttals, and consultation reports.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Quinn has served in the capacity as the Treasurer for the Executive Board of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP) from 2022 to the end of 2023. Currently, he serves as a mentor to other life care planners through his involvement with AANLCP’s Mentoring Program. His contributions to the field include presentations at national conferences on the topic of medical coding and billing and he is peer reviewed on the subject of UCR (usual, customary, and reasonable) data.
Mr. Quinn has considerable experience providing testimony to juries at trial. As such, he is passionate about teaching other experts how to serve as both objective expert witnesses within the US judicial system, and as consultants for personal injury matters. Mr. Quinn is dedicated to the field of life care planning and to educating other experts.
